Field Tank

ABOUT THE SERVICE

Field tanks are produced in various shapes: vertical and horizontal cylindrical; open-top and closed-top; flat-bottom, conical-bottom, sloped-bottom, and dish-bottom. Large field tanks tend to have a vertical cylindrical or vertical wall with rounded corners towards the base profile, which makes them more resistant to the compressive pressure of hydraulic or hydrostatic liquids.

A large field tank may not always be better, but it can be quite useful when it comes to storage for fuel or fertilizer. The larger capacity often provides a better purchasing power for the consumer, so a large field tank can have a significant impact. BOMAK Makine İmalat Sanayi Ltd. Şti. typically requires either a fixed roof and structure or, alternatively, a floating roof for field tanks. This floating roof rises and falls with the liquid level inside the tank, thereby reducing the vapor space above the liquid level.
